Thrift-store find!

Perhaps I'm a bit more excited about this than I should be, but I've been trying to find a hotplate without a raised edge around its perimeter.

Yesterday, at a local Goodwill, I found an Oster warming tray for $7.99:

I've needed a hotplate setup that could allow me to drag long portions of my waxes across the surface without running into those loathsome edges, and this does the trick!
My current "solution" involves flipping an oven tray upside down and heating the surface with a torch, or, alternately, with a Sterno underneath.
Got the job done, but it was extremely tedious.
