Horse head model

[Art-Deco]

I finished this clay model 2 years ago but I haven't done anything with it yet, it was inspired by an 1897 terracotta on a former stable in Greenwich Village, NYC which was converted into a private residence.





The original, the ears are damaged like almost all of these type sculptures are due to falling ice or other accidents, I added the classical cornice to mine to eliminate that and add strength to the ears.

Definitely equine, but it looks more like a mule to me...
