Here is a version of a Standard I love...Chet sings and plays a version of MFV.
Not my favorite version of his, but a nice take on it.
Richard Rogers, who wrote the music for this Show Tune needed a lyric from his partner, the great and somewhat crazy Lorenz Hart.
Richard and his wife locked Lorenz in a room at their house and said they would let him out only after he wrote the lyric to the song that they needed for the show...
He emerges with the lyric for 'My Funny Valentine'.
