Okay e, that wasn't too bad, in fact, you could have selected "Russians" without straightening my hair either. I don't like their visual gimmick with the makeup, but the sound is fine.

Here is my favorite falsetto, not counting some great ones from the days of Motown, such as Marvin Gaye. I mentioned this on an earlier post but did not include a link:

Yes, but Buckley's falsetto is transcendent. Theres no place to put that voice except with his own.

That's some pretty funky taste in music you have Ries, I dig it. Matt, I never heard of them before. dig that too.


This is kind of like the "Stairway to Heaven" for classical players, but I still never get tired of listening to Williams play it.

I like that Melt Banana too- kind halfway between DNA and Lightning Bolt.
I saw DNA live in about 78- they pinned my ears back for a good couple of weeks.

Here's one that hits close to home- Ol' Prince was contemplating all these same issues we kick around here, waaay back in 1982.

I LOVE IT ! Why does Prince feel like a guilty pleasure? He is easily one of the most multi-talented and unique artists to approach an instrument (he can play them ALL).

Check him tackling Hendrix here. And he manages to even make the song his own.
