Thank you ex boss
I got layed off my wage paying job at the end of last year which was not unexpected but still kind of a shock. I was marking time and collecting a decent paycheck but kind of going nowhere.
Now I have a little unemployment and some time to produce some pieces for the spring and summer. In the past I have always been behind or accepting a commission that ended up being a hassle because of no time to create. Art is starting to be really fun again. ryderhorses.com |

Re: Thank you ex boss
Did they say it was temporary, or was it a "take care, thanks and good luck"?

Re: Thank you ex boss
They actually said that business was too slow to keep me on this winter and "cough, cough, ahem" we will let you know in the spring. It was time for me to move on.
In the meantime a local charity fundraiser has come through with a sizeable honorarium for me to do a mare and colt for their fundraiser. |

Re: Thank you ex boss
Cough cough ahem, and they expect people to sit at home for four to six months waiting till spring to see if business picks up?
At least you can ride out 6 months of unemployment on them I guess since it was not your fault, and move on. |
