Making Metal in Michigan
Hello, I have been reading the forum for a while but never taken the time to introduce myself. I work in metal sculpture in my spare time and look forward to sharing with everyone in the future.
Thanks, JOE |

Hey Joe...I see you are in Grandville. I live in Wyoming. I remember seeing your sculpture at ArtPrize last year. Welcome!

Re: Making Metal in Michigan
I'm kind of interested in the Detroit thing. I have been looking for a place where I might find cheap housing and yet have a decent art culture. Can you PM me or give me some tips and hints? Thanks.

Re: Making Metal in Michigan
And for the person interested in finding studio space in Detroit. There is plenty of space left over from the auto industry at cheap prices. And a large art community. One of the largest areas that is populated by art studios is the Russel industrial center.- http://ricdetroit.org/2010/?id=home
