Hello Everyone

Hi to everyone here,

My name is Richard and I am happy to have found this community as I am new to all this and have lots to learn. I really enjoy seeing all of the different works here in a great variety of mediums.

I have sculpted a bit on and off over the years. Last year I found myself back creating in clay and set up a home studio to pursue my growing interest. I have lived here in the US in New Jersey my whole life and enjoy sculpting all sorts of creative creatures.

A couple of my most recent pieces (in the raw or bisque stage):
Nightclimber
Princess Pug
Primate Skull

Thanks to the community for sharing on this site,
Richard

Welcome, those are interesting, hope you enjoy the forum, and look forward to seeing more of your work.
Edit: I like the "princess pug",...

Re: Hello Everyone

Thanks, I just bisque fired the Pug and will be glazing her this week. I'll post a picture in the Gallery when done

@scrapartoz - That skull would certainly appeal to those markets, I didn't have one in mind when I made it. I actually wanted to sculpt some skulls to work on getting better at facial structures. The first one I made was the human skull linked below, and right after that one I made the "primate" one.
