The iconic inventor of the fold-forming process will be giving a 4-day conference at the Center for Metal Arts in downstate NY, July 21-24, 2011. The conference is filling, but there are still spaces left for people who would like to explore this process for sculpture.
July 21-22: Two days of Charles demonstrating all 8 families of folds and hundreds of variations in a small group setting. Bring your camera, questions and notebook--Charles is generous with his experience as a jeweler and educator.
July 23-24: Two days of bench time at your own well-tooled anvil, working at your own skill level under the guidance of Charles Lewton-Brain.

Fold forming continues to evolve as a process, and there is room to explore large-scale works using this process of forming large sheet. Ask us about creek-annealing!
