SCULPTURE magazine

I read the article by Sook Jin Jo in April's magazine regarding the "theft" of his work by a certain Jana Napoli with dismay and a certain admiration that he decided and attempted to reposses his original work and idea-good on him!
It is a situation that as a sculpture teacher I encounter from time to time- work created that is leaning slightly to far towards my own, it worries and aggrevates but I take some solace in recognising it makes me an influential Artist! ( I always tell the student that it "worries me")
Jung said (I think) that idea exists and the artist is the one who brings it into being, perhaps Sook can take solace that it is he who is the artist and miss Napoli the charlatan.
I also think a talkback on the magazine is and should be worthwhile to us all!?
