Sculpture World Mourns Death of Pat Renick

Former ISC Board Member Patricia “Pat” Renick died Monday, May 7 after complications from surgery. Winner of the ISC’s 2003 Educator of the Year Award for her lifetime devotion to her students at the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Architecture and Art, where she taught for 31 years, Pat was also well known for her commitment to the Cincinnati art community and her dedication to advancing the position of women artists and feminist works in the art world. During her tenure as an ISC Board Member, Pat was a tireless advocate for art students and young artists. Changing and affecting countless lives throughout her career and affectionately known as “Mother Art” Pat will be sorely missed.
