Need Help with Terminology & Source

Am bidding a job that will have among other things 5 - 6 concrete trapeziums (truncated pyramid) with lettering on them. The trapeziums will be 16.5" square at the top, 22" square at the bottom & 21" high.

I would sub this part of the job out hopefully to someone that is within 50 - 60 miles of me. They could do a better, quicker job of it than me.

Who would do this professionally & what would they be called? Cold caster? Mold maker?

Any suggestions of someone who could do it? Really appreciate your help.

Re: Need Help with Terminology & Source

You might try some local concrete contractors, but while they can probably cast your piers (don't call them "trapeziums" unless you want to scare them) it's doubtful that they'd be able to do the lettering in the forms. You could either find someone with a CNC router to produce those parts (in reverse) or do it yourself, and supply it to the people who are constructing your forms and filling them. If you aren't particular as to fonts, you might look here for sources of stock letters to apply to the inside of your forms: http://www.concretenetwork.com/quest...tersmolds.html
