Anyone doing mesquite wood sculpture?

I would like to see more shots of that "Plains Madonna". She has life and character.

Mesquite is hard as iron isn't it? Back when I was in the boat yard business I made a bunch of hardware out of black locust. Farmers used to say that a locust fence post would last five years longer than the hole.
