Mixed media

New stuff

Got into a new gallery over Xmas. They want 8 new pieces for the beginning of March. These are the first 5 done in January. Have since done an otter and an owl. Currently working on the last piece which is a lynx.
Cheers everyone
Tobias

Re: Mixed media

Fun and inventive pieces. Love the combination of the two materials. Wonder how the wood parts would look with a rougher texture.

Re: Mixed media

Lovely sculptures! How long does each one generally take you? I would love to see something like this at life scale.

Re: Mixed media

Thanks everyone. I've since gotten into a gallery in Santa Fe as well. And pushed into stone with stainless. My web site has most of the new stuff. These were done in November. Cheese the cat took 2 days.

I post lots of in progress and studio shots. I explain as much as I can. This work is hard wood or granite with TIG welded stainless steel. No casting all unique.
I've been full time sculpting for 7 years now. Don't give up.
