$63,500 mud and straw horse

$63,500 for a mud and straw horse sculpture.

TITLE: Horse (now THATS original!)
MEDIUM: Mud & Straw on Armature with Horseshoes Unique Original Sculpture
DIMENSIONS: 86 " x 77 " x 24" (219.7cm x 196.8cm x 60.9cm)
CONDITION: In excellent condition, all elements sound. (or at least as sound as MUD can be)

Some comments from the ebay page about it;

This work was included in her first show solo show. A note about this work that I find personally whimsical is the inclusion , and they are very subtle, but she has included horse shoes on the hooves of this work!!!!!!!!!!!
She whimsically includes a set of REAL horseshoes, I'd hope so for that $63,500 price tag!!!

1.) A Masterworks Fine Art, Inc. Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this work.

A certificate of authenticity for a, um.. MUD horse, now I've heard everything.

What a find, Landseer!

Eleven exclamation marks is certainly indicative of the whimsy abound,
(and the $63k price tag)

This is too bad. Deborah is an accomplished sculptor and this ebay seller is reducing the image of Deborah's whole personna with a tackey sales pitch. Click here to see some of Deborah's work of found metal and drift wood

or here

And this explains her transition to bronze...

Tired Iron,

There has been discussion whether selling art via EBay is a bit tacky,
so your comments are certainly of note in that capacity.

The seller is laying it on thick on the auction page to say the very least.

Thanks for the additional links!
