I wonder if anyone else out there has given this method a serious attempt?

you can see what I'm doing here

Grassroots fundraising I guess... with a revitalization / socio-economic backdrop...

the only example of grassroots fundraising for big expensive sculpture that I know of is the statue of liberty where I think 400,000 french school kids gave a buck to fund the gift from the french to the states.

Any thoughts?

John...go on facebook and friend Fox Elipsus. Fox is using Facebook in a very novel and aggressive fashion. He creates numerous multiple identities and friends huge numbers of folks in every city that he plays in. It may take you awhile to understand his method of operation ......but if you think about it long'll see his social networking genius. Fox Elipsus has many names and a vast....I mean VAST...number of fans and supporters ....all over the country.
