new to forum- so gald to find figurative sculpture!

I introduced myself at the welcome board and posted a bit about myself there, but hope to spend a lot of my time on the figurative forum. After all that is what I do.

I am so glad to have found others who do figurative art. Here is an example of my work- my specialty is kids. But I also sculpt adults.

It was so sad to open the board and not see a reply on my post that I decided to add one myself. I work alone all day at the studio, so I am getting use to talking to myself.

Good job Bridgette, nice work!

Hello there. I suspect the reason for the echo in studio is due in part to the feelings of intimidation many artist feel when it comes to the human form. It is wonderous yet subtle, glorious yet humble. Still after living in a world of other humans for almost 40 years, I think of it as more of a familuar road map to expression. I am new to this site myself. And was quick to bounce over to

I feel as someone rather new to physical art expression I will learn quite a bit by studying your site.

Please don't let me leave the impression that I value non figurative sculpture any less. Certainly not! My chosen field of expression was fiction and non-fiction writing, but due to baby brainstrokes and other concerns I feel to get anything of value done in this life time I had better pursue the faster route to making a statement and paying some bills. After spending a few years trying to hammer out the stories of men and wemon I just feel bound to their forms as my most expedient expession.
