Been working a little bit with a videographer who has been doing an artists series. Pretty straight stuff, but it'll be a real program once its said and done. Heres the rough verson/intro. As it comes together I'll add updates. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MsfTBvjs48
Pretty rough and tough, Matt. I feel like a careful little man in a little room with little bits of wood watching this. Itīs better without the music, surely! Look forward to seeing some more!

Of course I would have different music (Perhaps Slayer:D). But its not my choice. There will be decisions made that aim for the agreeability of the broadcasting entities. There will be opportunities for re-edits and manipulations once the thing is "in the can".

With only a handful of words in the bit, you got your magic one "process" out.
It is fun to watch you at work. Are they going to include a segment about "re-fueling Matt between exertions" ? (might not be safe for family viewing!)

No, neanderthals were weak little creatures. They chipped away at tiny stones incessantly...only the brighter ones realized it when a point was created. Nothing relevent about them except that they were necessary shells and propogators for the developing cranial walnut. In a different fashion, we here presently are all the same.

Me bend steel. ugh! Me call bent steel art.
(The word "Neanderthal" by itself gets censored from the board.)
Didn't know that was your method, O. ;)
Evaldart, did your son get to witness the videographer's performance? Thought he might get into it with his photography proclivities.

My son will likely get involved as an interview-ee. I'll be hosting an open studio this weekend and many folks who have bought work from me will be in attendance. It will be the public response finale of the program.

Stop playing the perpetually put-upon, woefully-misunderstood victim--
You insist on playing games and tossing insults into the fray without any sincere intention of contributing anything of value.
You are not above participating here with a modicum of restraint, tact and respect.
As such, if you are unwilling to abide by these simple rules, kindly ignore this forum and spend your time online elsewhere.
*(Matt, apologies for the off-topic tangent)

Thanks Obseq, We'll get it back on track. If not...lock it up and I'll start a new one.

How many sculptures does it take to make the statement, "gee I bent up some steel and welded it together"? What does bent and welded steel say other than, "gee I'm a sculptor"? It's pure ego. Of everything in this world, of all that is going on, of all the injustices, of all the magnificent, and you choose to say, "me bent steel, me artist"! You need to add the thought of your paintings and the action of your sculpture....AND SAY SOMETHING!
