As of yesterday I have noticed some difficulty getting here...and I know of others who have been completely unable to access the forum. Anyone else? Is there trouble in our cyber paradise?

I get that too - every few days or so. Never lasts - I just assumed someone was doing site work.

When you accumulate demerits for bad behavior you get briefly blocked (its like a thump on the noggin). Its not happened to me so I can't comment on error messages.

Well I've been cut-off, banned, blacklisted, punished, disciplined, spanked, jailed, punched in the nose, reprimandedcussed-out and insubordinated in my day...but I've yet to suffer the supreme cruel unusuality of being barred from blather on the internet. Guess I'm a goody two shoes.

I've been having the same problems too, I found that if I used the forum jump thing'y at the bottom of the page then it worked... ?

amusingly i am unable to open the home page now, have an ancient windows xp, that and the 'china syndrome'..
seems i can bypass the home page by using yesterdays history... usually shortening the address [from the longer favourites version] simply down to wwwsculpture.net, gets thru.

this chinese green dam web filter dosnt supposedly affect hong kong but im sure we have some search word result limitations as they are sometimes poor..often our probs lie with the long undersea cables and localised glitches.

but the new chinese gov approach is essentially daft and the hackers have ruined all their attempts to impose censorship on the chinese people, it will backfire on the gov -will only be made a fool of increasingly looking incompetant, thats how it will seem i bet.
however a reminder to all those 'free peoples' of the world that nsa, british intel and the rest of our 'protectors' will be keeping an eye even on this excellent site.
