Are you going to attend?

I'm always hoping to attend each year, but a conflict in my schedule, (along with the total cost of the trip)
is preventing me this time around.

Man, I would like to go as well. Unless some unusual money comes my way I wont make it. Saving up for Disney in January...SPACE MOUNTAIN BABY!

Hard to argue against Space Mountain!

Was planning to go, but too many other expenses popped up in between. With the cost of the conference, travel and accommodations, there's just no way it's gonna happen (especially when I keep forgetting to buy lottery tickets...).

Ahh, Juliana, I thought you'd definitely attend given your proximity!

The costs do add up rather quickly:

Airfare/driving: ~$300
Motel/Hotel: ~$200+ (ISC group rate listed from $95-127/night)
Conf. fees: $325 (early bird) $375 regular
food, other miscellany: ???

I was planning to go because of the close proximity... but the closeness still doesn't help much. The lowest price I could get for myself was still $1,800. Doesn't look like that much, except when I look at my bank balance ;)

Flight (northwest air) - 370
Amway Grand Plaza (4 nights) - 508
Taxi to and from Wloo airport - 50
Registration fee - 375
Spending money - 200
Food - 300
Total - 1803

I'd have to stay 4 nights to I can be there for the whole conference and leave time for exploring on my own. And I suppose it'd be cheaper if I wasn't so picky about good food!

Julianna,

That's quite the estimate!

...And $300 reserved for food 4 days?
May I take my next vacation in your refrigerator and pantry? ;)
