Looks like it makes nice clean meshes,
I might see if I can sign up to beta test.
I bet it will be pricey though for the release.

If you're in the market for a serious 3D solution, Carrara-5 is FREE in issue #100 of 3d world magazine, (list price is 600+bucks or about what a copy of Photo Shop CS2 costs) it should be in your local (upscale) bookstore soon or you can order it here: http://www.3dworldmag.com/
Since Eovia merged with Daz3D last year they've been doing all sorts of marketing promo's and free is my favorite price. I have C6 anyway, great software, think of it as 3DSMax or Maya jr.. A lot of people who don't know much about 3D computer graphics and animation will benefit from Carrrara. Even if you're not terribly interested, give it to your kid, they'll take to it like ducks in water and love it!
(I don't get paid for any of this, I actually do love the software)..

I heard Carrarra is good for the price, ive got 3ds max license though and would rather pay for a real life welder than another 3d app :)
I just liked Videotraces look that is quickly makes meshes quickly from photos which 3ds max lacks.
