Looking for large block of Carrera for torso.
30" x 24" 24" aprox.
Are there locations in US that have brought it from Italy?

Sorry, Gary, I can't help with this. We do have many contributors from that vicinity, so maybe someone will see this and have a suggestion. In another recent post, someone said there are better marbles, though Carrara is extremely well-known.

You probably know that shipping stone is expensive because of the weight. Can you use another marble?

You can get Carrara marble direct from Carrara, of course, and relatively cheap. I've just been over and have 300k being shipped back. If you need advice on this option, contact me.
