Thank you everyone for answering my previous thread and by the way I was so
taken that in the end I actually forgot to post a picture of my FIRST SALE.
So here it is.
Take a look and let me know.

Hi zagor, It looks like he's hatched right out of his shell. Great! Congratulations on your first sale.
I still remember my first sale, heady stuff, huh!
Enjoy it, go out to dinner or something, celebrate! Treat that significant other who has had to compete with sculpture for your attention.
Have a great day,
Jeff

Thanks ironman
celebration is on its way. And all of this, for a battered stone I picked up down the beach
a montain chip nobody cared for !

"..il mio maestro, e la sua mano che trasforma, sono niente, perchè il bello è solo negli occhi di chi guarda..."

ciao Zagor.

Ciao deborah4923
The sentence I quoted on my previous reply to Ironman resumes in short my philosophy, not only in sculpture, but about art in general.
Im afraid in english it has a different impact than you would get in italian, but I guess
the meaning remaines the same:

"..my master and his transforming hand have no value, because beauty only lies in the eyes of the beholder.."

Hope you agree
ciao Zagor.
