About a year ago I was quite inspired by a book I picked up at the public library, called "Dancing in the Landscape: The Sculpture of Athena Tacha".
See this link (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0967914310/qid=1138894400/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-8939393-7207958?s=books&v=glance&n=283155) for a description in Amazon.com.
I quote the inside front cover of the book.
"One of the initiators of 'site-specific' architechural sculpture - a significant shift in attitude that brought 'land art' into a social context - Tacha has been a finalist in more than 135 national and international competitions".
Anybody here familiar with her work, or this type of architectural sculpture?
I had already tried out the idea, although so far in simple forms in my own garden. I'd like to find out more.
