Artists signature, on resin sculpture

Does anyone know anything about how to etch/burn/print or otherwise permanently engrave/emboss/print onto a 3D Resin sculpture? I would like to put the artists signature on limited edition resin pieces along with the number of the edition.

The forms are cast polyresin.

I normally use a high speed power tool like a die grinder or engraver from Makita. Dramel costs too much.
