This is pretty cool, I received an email today from a reporter of the NY Times who is considering an article story on me after having stumbled upon my web site!
I just got off the phone with her and it sounds hopeful :)
The Times is an old, major NY City newspaper of prestige and history, it's read around the world.

It is cool. It is fantastic. Congratulations.
We all know the NY Times, even from half way around the world. But you have forgotten to post us your 'Lost New York City' website address which is http://www.lostnewyorkcity.com/.

I did forget thanks :)
Imagine that though, little ole ME in the NY Times, that would be real cool, but right now the lady said she is "considering" a story, so it's not 100% certain but she said she would call me next week to talk further along and asked if it was possible to send her my journal from way back when I collected sculptures off buildings.
Yes, I kept detailed journals 1974 to about 1980, but I have an almost photographic memory of that time when I collected the stuff and can recall the most rediculously small details like exact building addresses and from what floor and window a specific sculpture was removed from- 30 years later. I also can recall nearly all of the 500 buildings the stuff came from and like a video tape being played- the events surrounding specific buildings and salvages.
I think the lady was impressed how I was able to rattle off dates, addresses and other minute details.
Most of the details on my web site for addresses and so on were all recalled that way not from notes.
Hey! where have you been Merlin? I posted some mold pics for you in another thread, the one where you posted about your lion model, kind of buried a bit now.
