Dear Sculpture Colleagues:
The International Sculpture Center is currently seeking information about schools (any level---elementary, middle, secondary, colleges, universities, etc.) that have sculpture gardens or sculpture on their campuses. Also, if you know of schools that are interested in creating a school sculpture garden, we would like to know about them as well. The ISC is currently working with Nottingham High School and Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ on "The Creation of a School Sculpture Garden." We seek kindred spirits!
Please email me at carol@sculpture.org and thanks! Or, if you prefer send to:

Hi Carol

I've seen your posting on the Community and I can say I am one of those kindred spirits you are looking for!

I have created eight permanent works of art commissioned for schools where I have invited the kids to join in the process somehow. It is "participative art".

Please take a glimpse at the "percent for art" and the "artist at school" sections of my website.

I can adapt this participative art process to any form of sculpture for a garden...

Hope to hear from you!
