I wasn't sure where to post this and thought that this is just as good a place as any.
I'm in search of an inexpensive studio to work in downtown Toronto. I know they must exist somewhere...I create a lot of dust and am known to play with epoxy so ventilation is a must.
Size isn't much of an issue - 15X20' would be perfect.
Did I mention inexpensive? And I don't drive so location is an issue.
Anyone knowing of such a space ...I'd love to hear about it.

Hey Keith,
I'm not sure where in TO you are looking for a studio...downtown? There's the Queen W/Bathurst area. I think it's gotten a little expensive possibly though. Also, there are places south of King E and east of the DVP. Also, I guy I knew had a large one in an industrial area out in Etobicoke, south Etobicoke. Sometimes Now Magazine has listings for studios. As to cheap...well...I'm sure you're acquainted with rents in Toronto, so it will take some time to find what you are looking for. Good luck and if I come across something I'll post it for you.

Thanks Kathleen. Ya, rents here are insane - I'm living next to the Humane Society on Queen and River and hope to find something in this general area. However, with all of these new condos going in around here (15000 + in the next two years or so) all of the rents are going to be CRAZY. Something will come up.
I have seen a 1000 foot studio on Queen east that was cheap - just not cheap enough. I can't justify renting a big space and spending big money if I am not selling anything...
