Well in Ain't me,you,or Leanardo,it is MOther Nature.Ever been under the gun with the clock ,and boom here she comes.It could be a thunder storm with moonson rain,it could be some Tucson heat,or a Northwestern Blizzard,but she has an art of testing ones will at times.If I could kick her butt I would,she blew down my corn,smashed my squash,knocked off my blueberries,and spanked my giant sunflowers.Hey the roof is still on the studio,I guess that what really matters...........one wet ant

Sorry to hear of your weather misfortune...I guess Dennis the Menace isn't just a character on tv. At least you still have your studio, you can always get produce from someone else although the satisfaction of eating food that you picked less than 30 minutes ago is something that can't be replaced. I guess now you don't have to worry about weeding the garden:).

We have had so much rain and humidity I had to put a fan in my house window and clear coat,Laquer,a sculpture while I had the ac blasting to keep the laquer from blushing in the humidity.If you spray laquer while it is humid,it will blush ,which makes it look kind of milky.Also what sucks is the garden for once did not have any weeds,thats why mother nature spanked me,testing wills.

Out here (Ontario), it's so dry that all of the grass is dead and it's 40 degrees Celcius with the humidity. If my studio weren't in the basement, there'd be no hope of any work being done at all. Everything is sticky, and I'm afraid to touch my sculptures for fear of leaving a finger-print in the finish.
