Hey all. My name is Kelly and im a new ISC member. I am currently in my last year at the University of northern Colorado and plan to be an art teacher next year. I just reasently learnd to weld and this is one of my first pieces. What do you think?

Hi, Kelly. I like this piece. What is the material, regular steel or the self-limiting rusting steel? The form reminds me of some desert vegetation. Did you have a specific source in mind?

Hello Kelly,
Welcome to the group. I like the upsweep of this piece. Its size is not obvious from the photo. How big is it? I weld too.
Will you be teaching at the high school or college level?

The piece is made of mild steel that sat in the rain and snow for a week wile a salt solution was sprayed on it every now and then. A clear coat sealed the rust in and prevents any further damage. I ideally would love to teach at the collage level but will go k-12 wile I get my masters.
