I am a sculptress and have been working professionally over 20 years. I make figurative sculpture and reliefs in many different materials such as cast iron, glass, concrete, plaster and more.
http://www.mmedia.is/thorar/gallery/images/reliefs/big/conversation.jpg Steinunnīs figurative work slowly but immediately draws one into the mood of the subject, in turn provoking reflection. The silent strength of her work impresses with a subtle yet strongly powerful emotional pull on the viewer. Subtle and silent, strong and soft, her work is sculptural poetry.

Steinunn - Let me add my welcome to the ISC Sculptural Community. My work also is figurative, and I like your work immediately, though I have not yet been able to check out your website. Look into our own Community Figurative section and add your comments if you choose - it's very active.

Steinunn, how are you!
Did you apply again for Sculpture by the Sea? I managed to get mine in at the very last minute - who knows this year, I imagine there will be so many applicants from around the world.
